Conversation

In the counselor's cabin :

"I am Sujal. My wife and I have decided to opt for a divorce. But our friends suggested to seek some advice before quitting like this. So I am here."

"And your wife?"

"She doesn't believe in counseling thing."

"Okay. What is it that brought you guys to make such a crucial decision?"

" I have got tired of her complaints. She thinks we are poles apart and can not stay happy together."

"I understand you completely. I want to ask you something. Do you both talk?"

"Yes."

"About what?"

"Food, household stuff, work, kid, necessities of life.."

"Being the closest relation on earth, have you ever talked about life, love, relationship, sex, values, dreams, your deepest emotions, fears, faith, God and alike?

" ummm.. No... No we have never talked about these things. "

" Now I would advice you to go home and have a conversation with your wife about anything that comes straight from your heart at that moment."

After having a meaningful conversation with his wife, Sujal and his wife both realized what they lacked in their married life. Not only in marriage, they realized their only teenage son also needed to have deep conversations with someone. And so, now he spends less time on social media with friends and enjoys more time discussing and chatting with his parents about different issues related to life.

Conversations became that miracle substance which saved their relation, they wondered how simple miracle it was.

She listened to his silence and the monster who wanted to drink blood, not rain. He was not in love. He was honest enough to tell her. She was happy to read him, blindly. The script was being written. She read many... many more.... At times, she prayed to be saved. At times, she got tangled. Then he held her hand, showed her love... She searched for keys. Hastily.
